PopLife

The main objective outlined is to provide an open resource for researchers working on genome variation. The authors aim to update their existing genome browsers, PopFly and PopHuman, with newly generated genomic data. Additionally, they plan to expand and enhance their population genomics browsers by incorporating data from 10,000 Vibrio genomes, which will be analyzed as part of the project. Furthermore, they intend to include new genome sequences from other species to create a comprehensive reference population genomics browser for both eukaryotes and prokaryotes, known as the PopLife population genomics browser.
